Introducing my new Coffee Body Scrub!

Hi there, coffee addicts...

My latest outfit is sure to impress you, especially if you find it hard to function prior to a caffeine hit. It's my new Coffee Body Scrub, infused with nourishing plant based oils and delicious mandarin essential oil.

I'm all about making you happy, and my Coffee Body Scrub will do just that. My Coffee grinds will help to stimulate blood circulation in your skin to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scarring. The caffeine also targets skin conditions such as acne, eczema and dry skin, and helps to reduce the appearance of these.

Combine this with my exfoliating brown sugar and sea salt, nourishing coconut, grapeseed and jojoba oil and you're onto a friend with benefits that's a winner! See more of my good qualities below...

Sugar is a gentle exfoliant which removes your dead skin cells and enhances blood circulation to encourage the removal of toxins. Sugar is also a natural humectant which means that it helps to pull moisture from the air into your skin for hydration. Sugar also helps to stimulate cell rejuvenation which can lead to smoother, youthful looking skin.

Sea salt is a more intense exfoliant for your skin and is great in removing dead skin cells. Salt is a natural detoxifier which can help to absorb toxins, leaving your skin feeling clean and healthy.

Coffee Bean Powder comes from grinding whole robusta coffee beans and is a gentle exfoliant for the skin that assists with stimulating blood flow. The caffeine in coffee can also assist in tightening skin, helping to reduce the appearance of ageing and wrinkles. The caffeine in coffee also has anti-inflammatory properties which can help to improve redness and irritation on your skin.

Grape seed oil provides a great source of Vitamin E which is important for keeping your skin well moisturised. Grape seed oil also has some antiseptic qualities which can help to reduce the likelihood of developing skin blemishes.

Coconut oil is increasing in popularity and is a great way to moisturise your skin. It helps to keep your skin cell connection strong which can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or sagging. Coconut oil will naturally clear away any dirt, grime, or dead skin cells. It also assists in soothing your skin irritations, prolonging your tan and reducing the signs of ageing.

Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that helps to target the signs of ageing. Vitamin E does this by smoothing skin and reducing the signs of wrinkles, hydrating skin to improve skin elasticity and rejuvenating dry skin.

Mandarin Essential Oil contains properties that can address oily skin and acne. It also leaves your skin feeling fresh and smelling great…like fresh mandarins – YUM!

Introducing my Bamboo Body Scrub!

I'm another year older and it's the perfect time for me to get some new outfits and continue to make your shower experience one to remember. The latest addition to my body scrub range is my Bamboo Body Scrub.

A careful combination of exfoliating sugar and salt, nourishing bamboo powder, hydrating plant based oils of coconut, grapeseed and jojoba oil, and topped off with the delicious smell of freshly cut lemons.

So why should I be the next best thing in your shower? (after you of course)...

Sugar is a gentle exfoliant which removes your dead skin cells and enhances blood circulation to encourage the removal of toxins. Sugar is also a natural humectant which means that it helps to pull moisture from the air which can hydrate your skin.

Bamboo Powder comes from the Bamboo plant and can also be used as a mild exfoliant for the skin. Bamboo powder contains high levels of silica which helps to absorb oil on the skin, reducing the likelihood of developing pimples and leaving your skin soft and smooth. Silica is also known for its benefits for strengthening hair, nails and skin, particularly with supporting anti-wrinkle and anti-acne activity. Bamboo powder also contains essential vitamins such as A, E and B6, as well as minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium.

Jojoba oil is one of the oils most closely matched to the natural oil in the skin. Your skin produces wax esters which keep the skin hydrated and these wax esters diminish as you age. Jojoba oil produces these wax esters naturally and therefore gives your skin the much needed hydration that reduces with ageing. Jojoba oil also contains essential vitamins A, D and E, as well as Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids.

Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that helps to target the signs of ageing. Vitamin E does this by smoothing skin and reducing the signs of wrinkles, hydrating skin to improve skin elasticity and rejuvenating dry skin.

Lemon Essential Oil contains d-limonene – a cancer fighting antioxidant and contains anti-bacterial properties. It also leaves your skin feeling fresh and smelling great…like lemonade – YUM!

Why Should You Put Oil On Your Skin?

@debiflue

For those of you trying to avoid oily skin and reduce the likelihood of getting oily clogged up pores, you might be wondering why I insist that you rub my oily goodness all over your body. Well, let me give you the information about my natural plant based oils that you might not be aware of, and you too will see that adding oil to your skincare regime is the way to go.

Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil hydrates your skin which can help to keep your skin cell connection strong and aim to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or sagging. Coconut oil will naturally clear away any dirt, grime, or dead skin cells. It also assists in soothing your skin irritations, prolonging your tan and reducing the signs of ageing. Features in: all of my body scrubs!

Grapeseed Oil

Grape seed oil provides a great source of Vitamin E which is important for keeping your skin well moisturised. Grape seed oil also has some antiseptic qualities which can help to reduce the likelihood of developing skin blemishes. Features in: all of my body scrubs!

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is one of the oils most closely matched to the natural oil in the skin. Your skin produces wax esters which keep the skin hydrated and these wax esters diminish as you age. Jojoba oil produces these wax esters naturally and therefore gives your skin the much needed hydration that reduces with ageing. Basically, this means your skin will love absorbing this oil and it will help to restore the natural oil balance of your skin. Jojoba oil also contains essential vitamins A, D and E, as well as Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. Features in: my Green Tea Body Scrub and Activated Charcoal Body Scrub.

Sweet Almond Oil

Sweet Almond Oil is a light oil that absorbs into the skin well. It is naturally high in Vitamin E, making it a great oil for use on your skin. As it absorbs into the skin it can help to dislodge oil and dirt, making it useful for reducing the likelihood of developing acne and skin blemishes. Features in: my Raw Cacao Body Scrub.

Vitamin E Oil

Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that helps to target the signs of ageing. Vitamin E does this by smoothing skin and reducing the signs of wrinkles, hydrating skin to improve skin elasticity and rejuvenates dry skin. Features in: all of my body scrubs!

Essential Oils

Essential oils are not actually oils in the traditional sense. Essential oils are a natural oil that is extracted from plant or fruit sources and are 100% natural. Often fruit peels are cold pressed for their oil content, such as the orange essential oil in my Raw Cacao Body Scrub or the lime essential oil in my Green Tea Body Scrub. Other essential oils can be pressed from plant leaves, seeds or flowers, such as the peppermint essential oil in my Activated Charcoal Body Scrub. It often takes a large number of plant or fruit material to make one bottle of essential oil and the nutrients that are captured in the oil make them great for their skin benefits and aromatherapy properties.
